| I am not sure why everyone is complaining about installing this car seat. It took about 5 minutes no problems at all. We also have a Graco Nautilus which we LOVE and I think this seat equals it. We choose this seat because it reclines a bit more for our younger child to use until he is bigger and his head doesn't flop down while sleeping. Seriously, it is a great seat and for the price there nothing better! |

| I am a mom to 6 kids, ages range from 11 years to 6 months. I have tried every carseat out there, and have fallen in LOVE with this one. We own three of these, and I am buying a fourth for our 6 month old. We firt purchased one of these seats in March 2006. Other carseats get bunched up with the straps, or they are a pain to adjust the straps, or they don't fit the baby right, or are too frustrating to figure out. This one is super easy, even to take apart and wash, and put back together. It has the LATCH system, which makes it super easy to install, and easy to get the right height with the adjustable base that is included. It also has a strap between the legs that you can easily adjust the straps around the child, with a touch of a button, if they are wearing a coat, or take the coat off. I love that feature! I went on an airplane from Tampa, FL, to Sacramento, CA by myself with my 5 kids at the time, and brought 2 of these carseats on the airplane, for my 11 month old, and my 23 month old, and they fit perfect, even side by side on the plane seats. We have an 8 seater toyota sienna minivan, and I have these 3 carseats installed in our van, with plenty of room for my other 3 kids. I don't know why it has such a bad review, unless people aren't using it properly. I have tried some of the other seats out there, and get so frustrated with everything on them, this is the only seat to buy. I usually transfer my babies into this seat around 6-7 months old, and they fit great. We have an autistic 4 year old, and he still fits this seat with the 5 point harness system very comfortably, and he can't escape it either. I love the cupholders, although I don't know if that is still a feature. The one thing we didn't really like was the attached pillow, so we just take it off. The covered straps work great for supporting the babies and toddlers heads when they fall asleep. We recently went to California driving from Colorado (20 hour drive, and we drove straight through the night) and both boys heads were well supported, and they slept great both there and back. I have owned one of these seats for almost 4 years, and the other 2 for about 2 years, and they are all still in perfect shape! I highly reccomend this carseat!!! |

| This is a great quality Convertible car seat. I recommend it to anyone. The price is just right. Don't go any cheaper....don't waste more $$ than this one which is sure to please your young one too!! |

| I loved this car seat from day 1. I liked that it would go through all the stages. My son is 18 months old. I bought this car seat over a year ago. My wife, son and I were recently in a roll over accident. Everyone is okay and no one was hurt. My son didn't even have a scratch on him. The seat did it's job and kept him in the seat and not even wip lash. It was worth the money we paid for it. I think that everyone should get this seat it works great! |

| I really like this product. Like another review I read it has a little too much cushion but if you are using this for an infant it's perfect. I have not put it into the car yet because my 9 month old daughter still uses her carrier. It's very nice material and looks very comfortable. It also looks very easy to install rear facing. My daughters carrier is also Eddie Bauer and seems very similar to install. I would recommend this car seat for the price! |

| I had absolutely no problems installing this car seat and my son LOVES it! The only thing I wish different about this car seat is the center base buckle... its a little short. It makes it a little harder to buckle the baby, but still manageable! |

Eddie Bauer Deluxe 3 in 1 Convertible Car Seat Bryant Collection
We got this car seat for our daughter when she was about 6 months old. We loved the fact that it was the only car seat she'd need.
Putting it in the car rear facing was a pain, we had to take the base off and put towels up under the front of it to make it level. It took up a huge amount of space in our Ford Taurus.
When she'd fall asleep her head would fall completely forward, and she didn't look very comfortable at all. She was a pretty small 6 month old, so this might have something to do with it. I don't recommend it for rear facing small children.
Once she got to be a year and we turned it around to forward facing it is amazing! I love it. We have no problems installing it with the latch or the seat belt, and there is plenty of space in the car. She is very comfortable, her head doesn't fall forward when she is asleep and I love that it is high enough that she can see outside.
Over all I would say this car seat is great for bigger babies, especially forward facing, but not so great for rear facing infants. |

We purchased one for our first child and liked it so much that we bought another for our 2nd child 2 years later.
Pros: safety and comfortable for the children, fairly easy to install. Height adjustment easy to change. Easy belt adjustment for weather/clothing changes.
Cons: hard to un-clip, easy to jam fingers

| I have a similar model for my oldest and we love it. This seat has far too much added padding. I had to take most of it out just to get the straps adjusted properly. I do like the new latch for the shoulder buckles it is smaller and seems to be less in the way. |

| This is a really nice car seat and my 8 month old seems to really like it. The installations were a little vague however. We use the latch system and the way the directions said how to install it, there was no way to get the seat tightly installed. I finally figured out on my own to thread the system through the seat, under the padding, which was not easy to do, but it was the only way to get the system tightenend. Other than that, it is a nice seat! |
